My goal is to better our understanding of the world and the well-being of others through the use of research and evidence-based reasoning. I believe that researchers have an obligation not only to be impartial and rigorous, but should strive to make research accessible and understandable to maximize its impact. My research interests include animal welfare, effective altruism, organized labor, class consciousness and identification, civic engagement, social stratification, and social safety programs. I am hoping to transition into conducting my own evaluative research projects, ideally in the non-profit sector.
