Well after a week break we were back in the pantry cooking up some more tasty treats. This time it was kale chips that were on the menu. They were chopped kale doused with vegetable oil, sprinkled lightly with salt and pepper. We then cooked them on 375 and cooked them for about 7 minutes.
We got some pretty good reactions from everyone that came in and also from some of the volunteers that we had let have some of the samples. This time instead of just trying to catch the people coming in we actually went outside and flagged some people down. It did a lot better than we expected and we actually handed out quite a few samples.
