Interdisciplinary Biochemistry Masters Program

North Carolina State University is recruiting students for a new graduate program.  Please see a message from them below:
We have an NSF S-STEM training grant to recruit low-income and under-represented minority students to the program. We call the program IBMP – the Interdisciplinary Biochemistry Masters Program. Students would be accepted into the Biochemistry Masters program and take our first 3 required graduate classes.  They could choose to do their masters thesis research in a lab in 5 departments: Biochemistry, Animal Science, Plant and Microbial Biology, Food and Nutrition Science, and Poultry Science.  Students will also have an opportunity to learn about industry jobs through industry mentors and internships.
Our first cohort of students will start Fall 2018.  We are still looking for applicants, if you know of anyone who might be interested, please give them our information. Our web site is: ibmp.wordpress.ncsu.edu.
