2019 REU Program at Mountain Lake Biological Station

Now accepting applications for the
2019 Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program
(NSF-REU)
Become a National Science Foundation REU. Join undergraduates from around the country for a unique 10-week learning and living research experience in the southern Appalachians. Students conduct independent research in field ecology, evolution, behavior, and physiology under the supervision of resident scientists. REUs are internships that include all station costs, travel, and a $5,500 stipend.
Program dates:  May 27 – August 2
Application deadline:  February 20

Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region – REU 2017

Below you’ll find information about “Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region,” our 2017 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program. The program is open to rising juniors and seniors from any college. We’ll be accepting applications until Wednesday, March 1.

Dr. Chris Gough in VCU Biology regularly serves as a mentor and is senior personnel on this REU.  Interested students are encourage to contact Dr. Gough (cmgough@vcu.edu) as well as apply to the REU program.
