Gravel Hill Cleanup Project

Our Glendale Battlefield unit includes Gravel Hill, which was a community of free African Americans which began decades before the Civil War. Unfortunately, part of this site has become a dumping ground for all kinds of garbage and we need your help to clean it up. We will be hosting a beautification event on Saturday, November 12 from 9 am-12pm to help ensure that our National Park can do its best to preserve our historical and natural areas.
Please contact me to express interest and/or get more information on the project.
