As with everything presented on this website, this rubric is a prototype, meant to be piloted and adapted for use in specific course contexts. It focuses on student digital annotation use during blogging exercises, in terms of how students choose to incorporate hyperlinks and embedded images in their work. As described in more detail in the dissertation, quality of student work is viewed through lenses of quantity, digital mechanics, and communicative impact. These rubrics are meant to support instructor-, peer-, and self-assessment.
