I see some similarities between code.org and the standards in the upper elementary grades. I think that the standards in Kindergarten are not feasible for that age. With the students not being able to read, or having very limited reading skills, block coding will be difficult because they cannot read the code they are creating. I think that students of all ages will like spheros and learning to code from something similar. They will be able to see something tangible change what it is doing by what the student told it to do. I think that the students will understand it quickly starting in second grade and can learn more than I could in the allotted time. I think that some of the challenges of many of the standards are having the right supplies to teach the content, and also understanding it completely to where I can teach it and answer questions.
