Terrestrial Productivity
Introduction
Production, production, what's your function? How do you relate to respiration? And, how are these processes measured? We will explore these questions in this module, and particularly focus on quantifying the sources and sinks of terrestrial carbon that, when summed and scaled, provide a measure of whole ecosystem production and carbon loss. We'll accomplish this through custom-cuvetting. So, grab your tubing, fittings, putty, mason jars, pvc, and trash can lids, and let's see what we can build and measure!
