Edward Greiner is a VCU Ed.D. in Leadership student, preparing for his next career helping military and public organizations improve human performance. Edward is a husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a retired USCG Captain and current DoD civilian employee. He has been involved in and led training programs several times during his career, and currently leads the development of training requirements for the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency’s Education and Training Center (PRETC) in Fredericksburg, VA.

He earned a BS in Marine Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy, and a MBA from Averett University. Planned research and emphasis areas include the application of training in human performance improvement.
