I had a bigger idea in mind that really expanded upon the ideas below, but it appeared the infographic design I thought was a template was someone else’s work posted to a gallery.  When I realized how to use the free templates it seemed somewhat more restrictive and after spending 30 minutes trying to make the text I wanted fit in the overlap areas, I realized there was no way that would work without viewers needing a magnifying glass.

I guess this is the K.I.S.S. version of what I initially had in mind.

    Oops, sorry you had the mix up. But that’s a “learn by doing” example in itself, right? By struggling a bit with this, you’ve learned something you won’t forget. I suspect your students learn as much or more when they hit bumps in the road, too.

    Hmmmm…what is the distinction between “abilities” and “skills”? Innate vs. learned? Something else?
