For a while I was considering using Tumblr as the platform for my project. I enjoy Tumblr, I’m familiar with it, and most importantly, it would inherently present a wide potential audience for my project among its usership. The Deep Web itself would likewise be a fun place to situate my project, perhaps on a domain only accessible by invitation, and only viewable on Tor. But alas, I don’t want to force that on anyone, and it would be a bit too self-referential for my taste.
So I’m going to stick around on WordPress. It’s a largely unfamiliar platform to me, so I’d like to familiarize myself with it. It’s used by a wide variety of people and large companies alike, so I figure WordPress must have some good things to offer if it has such a following.
