Case Study

Throughout the semester in┬áDiagnosis and Remediation of Reading Difficulties, each student was partnered with a fourth-grade student at JEB Stuart Elementary School in Richmond City. We gathered information their background knowledge, writing skills, word knowledge, reading skills, and listening vocabulary knowledge. After gathering all of this data, we constructed a personalized recommended instruction plan. The case study concludes with a section discussing the student’s running records and reassessment results and other indications of growth.
