For our class TEDU 390, Physical Education for the Elementary School Teacher, students worked in groups to create a presentation for school administration to support a movement based program in an hypothetical school. Along with data to support this program, we completed a letter to the principal that introduces and explains our program Greater Richmond Fit4Kids, and 3 sample lessons (two at the fifth grade level and one at the kindergarten level).
These skills helped us not only find ways to incorporate movement throughout the day, but to also practice our presentation skills for administration (we presented this in class as well) and gathering relevant data to support our data.
