Disagreement Post

I found two bloggers who have opposite opinions on “As May We Think” by Vannaver Bush

The author of blog 1 emphasized the importance of science to our world. This blogger strongly believes that people can advance knowledge of technology through communication. Blogger 1 quoted Science has provided the swiftest communication between individuals…knowledge evolves and endures throughout the life of a race rather than that of an individual”, explaining how communication makes people to think together, thus improve technology more rapidly.

The quote also explains that because of communication, we do not have to think for individually, and allowed us to expand our knowledge between people.

The second blogger had an opposite opinion that humanistic qualities are more significant than advanced technology due to the fact that people will eventually see the limit of technology. The author quoted that our society may change but our characteristics will remain the same.

“If scientific reasoning were limited to the logical processes of arithmetic, we should not get far in our understanding of the physical world. One might as well attempt to grasp the game of poker entirely by the use of the mathematics of probability.”

I believe that fastfood companies advertise their product through advanced technology called advertisement or commercial. And sometimes in advertisements, they portray their products as healthy and delicious way as possible to sell more. In fact, because of the incorrect view of fast food, the rate of child obesity is increasing. But there are many groups that are willing protect obesity. They share right thoughts in a group and suggest healthier way to live people’s lives.
