I grew up in Orange County, California and moved to Washington, DC to study Latin American affairs at Georgetown University. I completed a B.S. in Foreign Service in 2013 and worked for several years in non-profit fundraising before deciding to pursue a career in physical therapy. I will earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2021.

I have observed physical therapists in a variety of settings including sports/wellness, outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.  Observing in many different practice areas gave me a greater understanding of physical therapists’ vital role in helping patients of all ages gain independence to lead a fulfilling life. As a student of physical therapy, I am committed now more than ever to becoming an expert physical therapist and working to educate, heal, and advocate for patients in need.
