Bio

I have always been pushed to expand the creative, independent, and intellectual parts of my personality. At a young age I was urged to try any activity or sport that caught my interest. I played field hockey, soccer, softball, soccer and tried ballet, swim team and horseback riding. Even back then, my interests were constantly changing. I took classes in ceramics for both hand building and wheel throwing and through that found that I was best at hobbies that engaged my creative mind. Next I tried volunteer work and immediately found serving others very rewarding. This was when I first realized my passion for helping others. I have very much enjoyed the variety in my life’s experiences and they have given me many opportunities to explore who it is I really am as well as the space to learn the power of self expression within myself and others. The impact self expression has had on me in my life has given me a strong desire to help others learn to know and love themselves.
