Mid-Atlantic Bioanthropology Interest Group

MABIG is a meeting of faculty, professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students in all fields of biological anthropology, from all types of research and learning institutions, designed to foster communication and interaction across our region.

The group was founded and organized by Amy L. Rector (VCU) and Kristi Lewton (then at Boston University and now at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California). We held our inaugural meeting at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014, and successful meetings in 2015, 2016, and 2017. We plan for the FIFTH ANNUAL MABIG meeting in 2018 to also be at VCU!

This site will be updated with plans for future MABIG meetings – we are currently making plans for 2018! If you have any questions, please contact Amy L. Rector (arverrelli [at] vcu.edu). To be added to the email listserv, submit your information using THIS FORM.
