Katelyn is a third-year student in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Prior to entering the DPT program at VCU, Katelyn was a cum laude graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She was on the Dean’s List and a member of the cheerleading team the duration of her career at Randolph-Macon. She was a member of multiple honor societies, including Beta Beta Beta, Chi Beta Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa.

Katelyn is passionate about pursuing a career in pediatrics. She is a recipient of the Interdisciplinary Training for Inclusive Practices (ITIP) grant, which prepares students to practice in the school setting. Katelyn is open to exploring a variety of practice settings in physical therapy and looks forward to the vast opportunities that becoming a DPT will bring.

The purpose of this portfolio is to highlight Katelyn’s professional and personal development throughout VCU’s DPT program. This portfolio will emphasize her commitment to learning, impact on community involvement, and the strengths she will bring to the physical therapy profession.
