    • During the beginning of the recording you talked about how different students solved the problem the same way but each represented the icing and batter differently. A way I would expand on this is to allow them to have colored pencils. I bet you would see some students who chose to draw out the full cupcakes and just color each section differently.

    • During my visit with the students I also noticed that the students used different techniques to find the same answer. Some students could give me the answer after thinking about it in their head, while others needed me to draw pictures. It teaches me that I need to really learn about each student in order to help them the most.
