I love the description, so detailed! Someone who has never been will probably know what to expect because of your description. It also reminds me of the time I went there. It was my first time as well and I can’t wait to go back!

I like the way you handled the situation. Being able to voice your opinion without hurting other people is a skill many people need to learn, and you did an excellent job at it. By even spending three hours holding up a sign, it shows how committed you are when it comes to matters that interest you. I love how you include the put at the end!

Your artwork is so amazing!! I got to explore my artistic side in high school, especially during my senior year. Since then, I’ve completely ignored it and I feel bad about it. Seeing your work makes me want to go back to creating more art. You’re really brave putting out your work to be sold. I don’t think I would have such courage, except it’s…[Read more]

I normally try to go to the gym at least twice on weekdays¬†if my schedule permits. If I can’t go, I go for¬†a walk or work out in my room. When I went home for thanksgiving, I¬†tried so hard to continue with this ro […]

    • Wow sounds like you have a really great routine! When I started this semester it was hard for me to stick to a regular routine. I hope you can stick with it over break too!

    • Good for you for laying out a play and sticking with it- working out is difficult, time consuming, and not fun (in my opinion!), so I have a lot of respect for you. Even when you hadn’t been for a while, you still had enough motivation to go and start over again!

Yay! You did it! I’m scared of heights too, but I’ve always wanted to overcome my fear. Now you’ve motivated me, I’ll definitely do something similar.
Also, I always find myself saying that ones environment doesn’t always influence who one is or the things one does and your third sentence proves me right.
I would really love to see the pictures though‚ėļÔłŹ

Thanksgiving was around the corner and I was debating on how I would get home.¬†My roommate had offered¬†to give me a ride on Tuesday evening, and I also had the option of waiting until¬†Wednesday¬†evening before get […]

    • Its good to see that you made it to your destination safetly and that you didn’t have to be fearful. Living on MCV campus here for my freshman year means that I have to take the bus everyday and that I get used to travelling. For this reason, I know that if I ever have to travel far by bus I will be ready. I hope you had a great thanksgiving.

    • I know where you’re coming from. For Thanksgiving break, I had to take a train back to VCU from North Carolina and I was scared out of my mind. I didn’t know what to expect. Would the train station be the same as the airport or would it be completely different? Luckily I had my uncle explain to me everything I needed to know about the station (and the internet). Glad that your first experience went well for you.

It’s good you were able to attend, and that makes me wish I did attend this event. It must’ve been super informative. Sometimes seeing these people in person is actually more touching than reading about them. Hopefully there’s another one of such that I can attend.

Last night as I was starting to look up sources for my persuasive essay and speech, I came across a movie on Netflix¬†called Embers. I usually watch shows and movies¬†that are either recommended¬†by friends or on […]

I was supposed to go to the basketball game last week Friday, but I couldn’t. For some reason, I couldn’t get access to the ticket. I thought it was just a minor issue and I kept hoping I could get it to work. […]

    • Sounds like you and your friends had a great time! I love going to the basketball games. The environment and energy in the Siegel Center is awesome. I am very excited for the rest of the season and hope to go to as many games as possible. Go Rams!

I thought I was the only one with the fear of rejection. Sometimes it’s not even the fear of rejection, but how long it takes before they finally reject or decline your offer. I’m glad you finally go to hang out. I love all the pictures; they make me hungry though ūüėČ

Thanks Kristin! I would definitely love to volunteer for the organization. I could maybe do a fundraising or collect donations consisting of clothing, food, etc. It would be really helpful for both organization and individuals.
