Developing Global Health Expertise: Cross-Cultural Effectiveness & Adaptability

Join this training offered by global faculty from Child Family Health International (CFHI) in partnership with leading cultural effectiveness trainer, Aperian Global.  This course will give you access to key tools, self assessment, and real world practice toward becoming a cross cultural professional.  These skills are essential for anyone wanting to work in globalized settings, desiring to serve diverse patient populations, and aiming to optimize self awareness and nimbleness.

The training runs from August 31-October 23, 2020.  There are 3 live sessions (which are recorded for viewing if you cannot attend in person), self-paced elements, and a capstone project.  The training requires approximately 4 hours per week.  Cross cultural effectiveness content is supplemented with Global Health Seminars on key topics, such as health systems, public health globally, and ethical aspects to Global Health.  Course is open to graduate, post graduate and undergraduate students and early career professionals.
