We have a personal statement workshop coming up on November 21st at 3pm in Hibbs 329 (see attached flyer). We’ll talk about how to get started writing your statement, the essential components to have in your essay and we’ll do some hands-on activities to help you draft and revise.

Summer Study Abroad Program: Midwifery and Health in Guatemala

VCU’s Institute for Women’s Health and Highland Support Project will host a week in partnership with indigenous midwives and community leaders in Guatemala. Participants will learn about traditional Maya medicine and midwifery practices in the region. The trip will be May 16-23, 2020. The cost is $985 plus airfare. March 1 is the application deadline. Spit for Science Program Seeks Undergrad Research Assistants for Spring 2020

Undergraduate team members will assist with recruitment, marketing and outreach and work in teams to develop research questions and analyze Spit for Science data. Multiple Mini Interview Prep for Health Care

Wednesday, Sep. 25, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

VCU Career Services will present Multiple Mini Interview Prep for health care. The event will be held in Virginia Rooms C and D, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Many graduate and professional health care schools are using the MMI format to interview applicants.
