Welcome to the TRT Lab

Establishing Connections between teacher shortage and transitional outcomes for students with disabilities

This lab serves as a resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers on the extensive work VCU is contributing to address the critical special education teacher shortage across the nation as well as the need for greater opportunities for students with disabilities in their transitions to the post-secondary level.  It is our goal to inform and advocate for greater outcomes in these two interrelated areas in order to contribute to the enhanced quality of life for all students.
