Hobbies: Really, I like to tinker. I build furniture in the summer, but I also like building computers. I also love cooking.
By day, I am a classroom teacher for students with special needs; I work and live in Albemarle County, VA. I have more than 18 years of classroom teaching experience working with a wide variety of students with special needs. At night, I am a VCU graduate student exploring educational research. I am currently conducting a study to teach individuals with Intellectual Disability algebra skills.
In my spare time, I am a father. I have two children. Zach is 14 years old (we will learn more about him during the class,) and Sarah is 11.
