Hello everyone!!

        Welcome to my page! I am Sonica Mahat, born and raised in Nepal. The site highlights my journey for a DNP degree at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am currently working at a private practice office.  My specialty is Sleep Medicine. I also practice Internal Medicine a few days a week.

         Coming from a different country, working in a different cultural setting, and getting the highest degree in Nursing has not been a relaxing journey. This site highlights the footsteps I procured to attain my dream of achieving the terminal degree in nursing- the DNP degree.
