    • tag posts with any Virginia SOL that inspired the art (ie. “science3.8”), and any other tags you think are useful
  • Work on final art projects (Ongoing)
  • Weekly blog post – Due 1/28 by midnight
    • In this weeks reading, the author categorizes the use of arts in education in three broad ways (art as text, arts integration, and arts education). This week in class you each designed and developed a personal web site.  How did this activity relate to each of the three ways mentioned? How could you modify the activity for K-5 students to better address each way?

  • Respond to 2 classmates posts – Due 1/31 by class time
    • Respond to two of your class mates posts. In your response, provide feedback to them on how their suggested modifications to the activity could address one or more VA State Elementary SOLs (see link on course site for listing of the SOLs). What could be added to assist in this?
