Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences welcomes new and returning students during VCU Welcome Week activities.
Open Houses will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23 and Thursday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m – 1 p.m. in the Tompkins-McCaw Library lobby.
Stop by the table to speak with librarians and learn about search tips, databases, library services and more. Tours will be held on-demand. Tours last 10-15 minutes, library staff will guide you through the Tompkins-McCaw Library and show you the study rooms, silent study areas, Multimedia Collaboration Room, historical displays and much more.

- VCU Libraries Grad Fest – Start strong and shine all year with Grad Fest, Wednesday, Aug. 24. The drop-in open house will be held 1 to 4 p.m. at James Branch Cabell Library (Lecture Hall, Room 303). Librarians from the Tompkins-McCaw Libary will be on hand to answer any questions that you have.
