Jiangnan University and the VCU School of Education are partnering on their first annual conference, Cross-Cultural Perspectives on Research, Teaching and Learning.
The inaugural JU-VCU Conference will be held October 24-25, 2019 at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China. The conference promotes cross-cultural conversations among students, researchers, and educators from Jiangnan University and VCU, K-12 schools, education systems, educational institutions, and partners from China and the United States.
Situated in Wuxi city by the beautiful Taihu Lake, JU was a national key “211 Project” university and has been selected into “First-Class Discipline Project”. The conference aims to be a safe space within which both well established and early career academics can find a forum to provoke debate, stimulate discussion, offer new ideas, and share their research findings. Meanwhile, it also provides platforms for dialogues between educational research and school practice.
