Trae Harris, program coordinator for VCU Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) administration, completed the “Sponsored Projects Administration Certification Program” and received his certificate on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park – BioTech One building. This voluntary five-month long program is jointly sponsored by the VCU Office of Research and Innovation and the VCU Office of the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration.
“This is a rigorous and comprehensive program,” said Susan E. Robb, senior associate vice president for research administration and compliance for the VCU Office of Research. “I believe it is the best internal training program in the country offered to employees.”
The decade-long program is managed and coordinated by the Office of Sponsored Programs and combines online materials with five live class sessions.
